Finding a report (Reports)
You can use the Search menu to locate specific reports.
- To perform a simple search, enter one or more keywords and click Search.
- To clear the search results, click Show all reports.
- By default, simple searching is a whole word search. That is, searching for "car" will not return "carrot". (This is an administrator option.)
- To limit searching to the current folder and its subfolders, select Search within current folder. (This is an optional feature which may not be available in all sites.)
Note: It can take several minutes for a newly-published report to appear in search results.
- By default the application searches for keywords in report names, item names, and dimension names. Other search criteria can be enabled by the site administrator.
Note: If the optional Extracts feature is enabled, the application can search for extracts by extract name, category name, and series names.
- If the search result represents a specific dimension item, only that item will be displayed for its dimension when you view the report. (Other dimensions appear as they are defined in the report.)
- If you enter more than one keyword, search performs an AND search. (That is, only reports that contain all the keywords will be found.)
Note: Only the first ten words of an AND query will be searched.
- To perform an advanced search, click Advanced search. The Advanced search page appears.
Note: Not all sites provide advanced searching.
